Where Quiet Streets Meet Old Roots

Three Juveniles Orchestrate Multi-Vehicle Theft Ring in Neighborhood

At 5:14 AM on Monday, August 31st, a four-door Jeep Wrangler and a Ford F-150 SuperCab pulled up to the intersection of Analee Avenue and Neighbors Avenue. Two people were in the Jeep and one in the truck. The person in the truck got into the Jeep, they parked the Jeep on Neighbors Avenue and left the F-150 on Analee, then all three — appearing to be Black juveniles — walked down Analee Avenue together.

Forty minutes later at 5:54 AM, a white Mazda3 hatchback with a black gas filler door showed up next to the Jeep on Neighbors Avenue. Someone tried to restart the Jeep but couldn’t get it going.

By 5:59 AM, both the Mazda3 and a new-style gray Toyota RAV4 had pulled onto Analee in front of the F-150. There was a moment of confusion coordinating who was going where — one juvenile got out of the RAV4 heading toward the truck, got called back by someone in the Mazda3, and then one from the Mazda3 slid into the RAV4’s driver seat. All three vehicles were now occupied and ready to move.

That’s when a neighbor came outside. The F-150 driver panicked, needed a six-point turn on the narrow street, rode up onto a front lawn and sidewalk, and sideswiped a parked vehicle on the way out. All three cars fled down Analee Avenue. By 6:04 AM it was over — with the Jeep Wrangler left abandoned on Neighbors Avenue.

What police have confirmed:

  • The Jeep Wrangler was reported stolen out of Towson
  • The Ford F-150 is believed stolen from Coco Lane near Red House Run Elementary
